Pursuing success? Summon knowledge.

Pursuing success? Summon knowledge.

By Jean Ricot Dormeus

“My people perish for lack of knowledge” shines from the Bible jewelry case of truth as a key that unlocks the gate to lofty achievements. We make mistakes and fall into difficulties because we most likely don't know better. Often, lack of information and data or emotional frailties convince us to take the wrong road. However, everything comes out better in the light of knowledge where excellence makes its abode. We don't grope around in the dark thanks to pertinent knowledge.

A lady improvised a song on the spot, lyrics, melody and all. Inspired by a celebrated artist, she had nurtured a strong desire to sing for even an audience of family and friends. You guess the embarrassment that followed her performance. Would you like to be in her shoes? In any endeavor, a strong desire may be the beginning, but it suffices not. Learning, practice and a tad of talent always make the difference.

Pertinent knowledge is a must. It empowers you to produce the results you are after. Taking a daily dose of knowledge through learning builds your mental muscles and prepares you for challenges ahead.

Knowledge equips you with a valuable gift to share. And it works like love; the more you give, the more you receive. No wonder people teach topics they want to master. And co-workers who share knowledge profusely are appreciated and advance in their career.

The habit of continuous learning and knowledge acquisition helps predict the future of individuals and communities. It is a leading indicator of success.

Are you mired in the quicksands of challenges or negative growth? Summon knowledge. It will lift you up and enlighten your path.
